The classic check is the skin-tone line on a vectorscope. Scopes live inside one app, read the whole frame, and take practice to interpret. SkinScope puts the same idea over your work as a simple green-or-not indicator, in every window on your Mac, sampling only the skin you point it at.

What does SkinScope measure?
It analyzes the rendered pixels inside its circular sampling area. The hue guide uses Rec.709 chroma direction on an sRGB screen capture. Saturation, luma and sample coverage help flag pixels too neutral, dark or clipped to judge.
Does green mean my skin tones are correct?
Green means alignment with your selected hue target within tolerance. It is a verification aid, not proof of a universally correct skin color.
What stays private?
Screen analysis stays on your Mac. SkinScope does not save or upload screen captures. Only your license key is sent for verification.
